Am 20. Mai 2014 stellte sich Gesundheitsminister Alois Stöger für einen Fototermin mit VSF-Vereinspräsidentin Dr. Dagmar Schoder und Christian Clerici zur Verfügung.
Als Schirmherr der Spendenaktion IMPFEN FÜR AFRIKA sagt Bundesminister Stöger: "In der Gesundheitspolitik, für die ich stehe, geht es nicht nur um Reparaturmedizin, sondern vor allem um Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention. Und zwar nicht nur für die Menschen in unserem Land, sondern auch für unsere Haustiere, die mit uns Menschen zusammenleben. Aus diesem Grund erachte ich IMPFEN FÜR AFRIKA von Tierärzte ohne Grenzen als eine besonders unterstützenswerte Aktion. Wenn darüber hinaus auch noch Entwicklungsprojekte in Afrika unterstützt werden, um so besser."
