VSF International actively fighting rabies
In Africa alone, VSF-International has numerous projects to fight rabies. | © VSF International
The network VSF International, of which Veterinarians Without Borders Austria is a member, has long been contributing to the eradication of rabies. The measures include, among other things,
- Mass vaccinations of dogs
- Castration projects to control dog populations
- Education of communities in affected areas
VSF Austria contributes to the fight against rabies by inoculating dogs in rural areas in East Africa.
